About
What it is…
Me watching you. You there, caught in a moment. Resting your cheek on your daughter’s head. Looking at your baby. Your child, reaching up to pat your face. It’s that goofy expression that simply epitomizes your daughter. It’s a story of you and your family and your life.
It’s film. It’s digital. It’s black and white. It’s on location, probably where you don’t expect it. It’s the image, the one that doesn’t record what you look like on Tuesday the 14th at 9:14 AM but who you are.
It’s me, dressed in old jeans and muck boots so I can go in the stream or up a tree to get “the” shot. Because we WILL get it.
What it isn’t…
In color, your kid saying “cheese” or a baby in a cabbage. It isn’t in a studio because I don’t have one. On location. It means I come to you. It’s a feature, not a bug, I swear.
