Portfolio Critiques and Mentoring
I am a huge proponent of getting an outside eye to look over your work and help you focus on areas that need improvement as well as help you recognize strengths you may be overlooking. A critique should leave you invigorated and excited to go out and work more and my goal is to inspire you with your own work.
THANK YOU! I came away feeling revived and renewed. You gave me several things to think about and to work on. I appreciate the way you gave honest praise along with straightforward critique. This was my first portfolio review and I cannot believe that I waited to long to go through the process. – Katie Clayton

If you want to learn and grow in your photography, if you want to be pushed and inspired, take this class. Stacie has a unique ability to teach and mentor photographers, bring out their best work and make their photos shine. ~ Melissa Tukker
The clarity and depth of Stacie’s vision are unmatched and they make her a formidable but incredibly valuable mentor and critic. The depth and breadth of her experience mean that she’s seen it all, the good and the bad, and she can tell the difference. The gift she gave me, through assignments, feedback, and a portfolio critique, is the ability to begin to see the difference for myself in my own work. ~ Sara Kelly
This workshop was just what I needed. I learned more in this short week than I have in a while. ~ Nicole Duff

I really LOVED this workshop – Stacie is an excellent teacher. She gave us LOTS of assignments (group and personal), her feedback is great, she was available everyday, she gave lots of examples and links to help drive home the lesson, and the Skype portfolio review was pretty awesome. I feel a notable change in the way I approach taking a photo now – I THINK a lot more and look at the entire frame instead of just the subject. I am so grateful I took this class – I am definitely recommending this class to all my photog friends. ~ Maria
This popular two week online class taught in partnership with I Love Photography includes instruction customized for each participant. The class starts with an individual portfolio review and students are then led through a series of group shooting challenges as well as an individualized challenge, all structured around basic principles of environmental portrait composition.
